About Me

Hi, I’m Laura!

I’m a Qualified Nutritional Therapist determined to support you to take charge of your health through nutrition.

I'll be the first to put my hands up and say that I haven't always got my nutrition "right" for my body. I was diagnosed with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), formerly PCOS (Polycycstic Ovarian Syndrome), a hormone condition that affects 1 in 10 women) whilst studying at Cambridge University and found myself frustrated and hopeless when my diagnosis was not clearly or fully explained to me. With hindsight, it also impacted my ability to perform at England-level athletics (I was a long-jumper). In search of answers, I learned the incredible impact nutrition and lifestyle can have on a multitude of conditions, which led me to study Nutritional Therapy. I’m now passionate about helping others, passing on the knowledge and tools to make evidence-based choices about our health.

Prior to becoming a Nutritionist I had a career in Investment Banking (J.P. Morgan) and Strategy Consulting (BCG) so I have experienced first hand the challenges we all face when trying to prioritise our wellbeing. That’s why I focus on practical and actionable recommendations that quickly lead to impactful changes, no matter how intense work can be.

More recently, becoming a mum has given me a whole new appreciation for just how much our nutritional needs can change through different stages of life.

Lastly, I am aware how unique we all are, with individual needs, preferences and lifestyles. That’s why I provide personalised nutrition advice that is tailored to you and your lifestyle. No cookie-cutter templates or fad diets here! Instead, I’ll support you to make impactful and life-long changes towards optimising your health.

I have since helped many women with balancing their hormones, supporting them to make life-long change and sharing the knowledge I wish I’d known earlier in my life. I’ve also helped many career-driven professionals with making those small tweaks that have had a material impact on their health and performance.

If this rings true with you, please do get in touch. I’d love to chat to you about your situation and how I might be able to help.
